Maggies Centre is the construction of a purpose built centre for anybody who has, or who has had cancer. They are also
for their families, their friends and their carers and is one of many nationwide “Maggie’s Centres”.
The Mechanical and Electrical services were installed by Gee-Bec Services over the duration of the 13 month
construction period.
The Mechanical Services installation comprised installation of a gas fired LTHW heating system serving the ground
floor underfloor heating system and the first floor trench heater units. Domestic hot water service is either provided by the wall mounted gas fired boiler or locally installed electric water
heaters. Cold water is provided direct from the cold water main. A rainwater harvesting system has also been installed and this is used for irrigation purposes of both the external and internal
garden areas. Mechanical ventilation has also been provided to the toilet areas and kitchen.
The electrical services installed consist of lighting, small power sockets and data sockets. Emergency luminaries and
relevant signage, mains distribution, window controllers and a concealed containment system comprising of floor trunking connected to various floor outlet boxes. A fire alarm system has also been
installed in all of the areas connected to a main fire alarm panel.

Construction of a
Residential Infill development forming five in number residential flats and one in number Mews House over five floors.
The Mechanical and
Electrical services were installed by Gee-Bec Services over a 3 month period.
The Mechanical
Services installation comprise of the installation of a boosted mains cold water supply serving the flats via a break tank. Domestic hot water service is provided by the use of a direct unvented hot
water cylinder located in each flat. Mechanical extract ventilation has been provided to the bathrooms and kitchens.
The electrical
services installed consist of lighting, small power sockets and television and satellite systems. A landlords area fire alarm system has also been installed. Each flat has been installed with
individual electricity metering and a video entry phone system.
Network Rail Training Centre:

Training Facility for Network Rail in Paddock Wood, comprising of Training Classrooms, Office Accommodation, Café and a Practical Training shed containing signals, junction boxes, railways points and
various track layouts.
The Mechanical and
Electrical services were installed by Gee-Bec Services over a 4 month period.
The Mechanical
Services installed comprise of an underfloor heating system to all areas (excluding the Practical Training area) served by two in number gas fired condensing boilers, hot water services, cold water
main, Mechanical supply and extract ventilation to the toilet and changing areas, natural ventilation systems to the classrooms, office area and café/reception area. An automatic control system has
been installed to control the mechanical services.

services installed consist of lighting, small power sockets and data sockets. Emergency luminaries and relevant signage, mains distribution, window controllers and a concealed containment system
comprising of high level trunking and floor screed trunking connected to various floor outlet boxes. A fire alarm system has also been installed in all of the areas connected to a main fire alarm
panel.
