LSO St Luke’s commissioned the installation of a new audio control room for rehearsal purposes and associated refurbishment. The mechanical installation consisted of an existing AHU and kitchen area being removed and a new dedicated AHU installed to control the air requirements to the new control room which was sighted in the old kitchen location. New ventilation was also installed from the new AHU to the control room.
A new front of house WC area was installed including adaptions to existing ventilation and plumbing services.
Fire and smoke dampers were introduced to meet the new fire strategy requirements and alterations to the existing BMS system were carried out to meet the new specification. Chemical cleaning and water treatment were also carried out to all services upon completion.
